This page explains how to delete your Covault account (the Covault: Savings Goals app by JPX Software Inc.) and what happens to your data.
How to request deletion
Email hello@jpdigital.studio from the email address you use to sign in to Covault, with the subject “Delete my Covault account”. If you signed in with Apple’s Hide My Email, send it from that relay address or tell us it. We confirm by email and complete the request within 30 days. You don’t need the app installed to do this.
Before you delete
Withdraw any balance from your goals first. Deleting your account does not move funds. Any lock rules you set on a goal still apply until they expire.
What we delete
Your account profile (name and email), goals, goal names and categories, reminders and notification settings, accountability partner links, and app analytics tied to your account. These are removed from our systems within 30 days.
What we keep
Transactions and balances recorded on a public blockchain cannot be deleted by anyone. We may keep records we’re legally required to retain (for example payment, subscription and tax records) for as long as the law requires, and backups are overwritten within 30 days.
Deleting some data only
To delete specific data without closing your account, such as a goal or your reminder history, email the same address and say what you want removed.
